Bio

Nrthn expels a harmonious union of fluidic melodies and displaced rhythms; comforting and at times unsettling. Thoughts are depicted sonically through an atmospheric sensibility, but still uphold an undeniable strength and presence in their delivery. Nrthn creates audible juxtaposition that melts into an emotional cohesion of cinematic sound and searing sentimentality.

Nrthn’s debut EP, Quiet October, was independently released online in April, 2017.

This hits you right in the gut. My heart and my stomach feel like it's dropped a few metres into the earth after listening to this.

Obsessed with this. A vocal soundscape with a melody that moves by inches, this doesn't sound like much else locally. It feels like Oliver Tank jumped forward a few years.
