Oh White Mare are back! Re-emerging in 2019 after a lengthy hiatus, the band come armed with a brand new release and a fresh new perspective. From humble beginnings with ol’ pals cutting their teeth up in Aussie music legend Snowy Fleet’s attic in Perth W.A, OWM continue to fine-tune the west coast indie rock sound they’re becoming known for. Last heard from with 2017 EP ‘All The Modern Lovers’ – their new tracks sound like the bastard child of Josh Homme and Alex Turner, filled with tasty guitar licks and soaring strings. Having been integral to the OWM sound since the band strummed its first minor chord, Andy Lawson of Perth’s renowned Debaser Studios, again took on engineering/mixing duties for latest session. New single ‘Goodnight and Goodbye’ immediately hits you with a fuzz-filled riff, then settles into a rhythm full of swag as singer Ross Wood describes the intimidation of the opposite sex.
