Bio

At just 17, Matt Cicero had already reached acclaim from local and global tastemakers, leaving the kid overwhelmed at the praise for a single demo.

His vocal capabilities freshly thrust him into performance early in this journey, first with LA crew ILLEGAL CIVILIZATION, then soon after supporting international acts ABRA and TOKIMONSTA. Since his first demo, Ojikae’s vision has undertaken a deep maturity, as Cicero himself has evolved.

His final teen years were spent studying towards a Law degree, which conserved him as a part time musician. His potential was ever-present during this period, building to the inevitable moment he switched all his focus to music. As the project then accelerated, he began working with artists like Maribelle, LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Hopium, Benji Miller (Rejjie Snow), Cosmo’s Midnight and Xavier Dunn.

Simply buttery! The production polish that's been spiffed upon this track is an apt match for Ojikae's lavish vocals.

Omph that voice. You'll be stealing so many hearts with it. It's big star material.

I'd been tossing up whether or not this was a rare five star offering when I realized I'd given the demo of this song four and a half star. You've taken that near perfect demo, shined up the verses and hammered it with some thicker production. How can I not give this five?
