Bio

From the heart of Melbourne, the creative catalyist behind Olympic White are Thomas Daniels and Wesley Zagorc; a unique blend of two musical styles; a proud and unapologetic australian culture bringing an undercurrent of lush indie vibes and reflective lyrics that shook hands with a strong overtone of groovy rhythms and melodic phrasing from blues orientated rock.

With the addition of Scott Barton on drums (ex-Playwrite) and Ivan Chelvathurai on bass and with a well-rehearsed repertoire, they've played the circuit of local venues including The Workers Club, The Evelyn, The Bendigo Hotel with names like 'Harper Bloom', 'Edit The Empire', and opening at the album launch of 'Diamonds Of Neptune'.

In November 2019, the band realeased their debut single 'Order And Chaos'. In support they announced a string of shows over Summer where they played stripped-back version of their songs. Their second single 'Tear Out My Heart' was released in April 2020 and has received positive attention and reviews from curators on Triple J Unearthed.

Their third single 'Mumma Don't Know' comes out on Monday 15th June and boasts a new experimental sound with more articulate production. It's pre-release on Triple J Unearthed has already garnered positive reviews from curators. With tour plans in motion, Olympic White are back in the studio to record their fourth single due for release in August 2020!

Wedding a chill vibe with some spiked UK guitar action. It's a stylish combination like the double demin in this band's profile pic.

Warming stuff with a convincing chorus - it's shades of San Cisco meets DMA'S. Gonna have to keep an ear on this project.

I love the way this moves. It feels light, easy and the space you've created is so bright and full of charm.
