Artist:ORCA

“ORCA” is a three-piece all girl indie pop band from Perth, Western Australia. Our band members consist of Darcey the lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist, Emilia the lead guitarist and back up vocalist with Libby on the drums. We found each other while attending a song writing masterclass during the summer holidays of 2017. Over the past couple of years our bond and creations have only become stronger, with every song we write and collaboratively piece together. Initially playing with another band member we were finalists in both the 2018 Act-Belong-Commit Fairbridge Festival Youth Songwriting Competition and WAM Song of the Year. We have performed live at Mojos, Rock Scholars at The Garage, YMCA HQ, Mt Hawthorn Streets & Lanes Festival, Splashfest, the Perth Royal Show and most recently at the Hyde Park festival. Recently hitting the recording studios in Fremantle, we spent time with Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe) while crafting our own tunes using inspiration from Hill Top Hoods, Ed ...
