Melbourne band The Outdoor Type formed in 2015 with the release of their debut self-titled EP - gaining attention on a number of international blogs and local radio. Signing with Nettwerk in 2015, their first single with the label, On My Mind, received critical acclaim internationally. They have since released a number of singles and EPs with Nettwerk - parting ways in 2019. The band is now independently releasing new music in both The Outdoor Type and their new project, Best Western.Their latest single Watershed is a sunshine drenched stroll to the tram on Monday morning. It’s a rumination on repetition, a meditation on melancholy. Fed up and frustrated but comfortably sedated.
