Bio

Gippsland boys, The Paddy Cakes are quickly forging a name for themselves with their fast-paced, high energy live shows, a contagious sense of mischief and fun, and some seriously slick sound production.
The Paddy Cakes have crafted an exciting indie rock sound drawing inspiration from Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and The Wombats, whilst bringing a uniquely Australian charm to the party.
Only having just released their debut EP a year ago, the lads have shared the stage with the likes of Ball Park Music, Dean Lewis and The Jungle Giants.

With producer Dylan Adams (DMA’s, Skegss, West Thebarton) on board, they've been able to craft a sound reminiscent of 00's indie rock blended in with a modern age rock. Together they have been hard at work in the studio the last couple of months and are excited to see the release of a lot of new music throughout the year.

That chorus took a little darker turn than I was expecting. Refreshing! You've got a few tricks up your sleeve!

I've listened to this track a few times now, but it always manages to make me feel like i've known it my whole life. I love when music can make you feel like that and The Paddy Cakes have always been so good at capturing it. Plenty of solid moments in this, the ramp ups, the guitars (especially at 2 mins 20 in) and that chorus. All so damn good!
