Bio

Gippsland boys, The Paddy Cakes are forging a name for themselves with their fast-paced, high energy live shows, a contagious sense of mischief and fun, and some seriously slick sound production.
The Paddy Cakes have crafted an exciting indie rock sound drawing inspiration from Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and Catfish and the Bottlemen, whilst bringing a uniquely Australian charm to the party.
Only having just released their debut EP a year ago, the lads have shared the stage with the likes of Ball Park Music, Dean Lewis and Angie Mcmahon.

With producer Dylan Adams (DMA’s, Skegss, Sticky Fingers) on board for their EP, Broken at Best, they we're able to craft a sound reminiscent of 00's indie blended in with a modern age rock. Broken at Best found quick popularity having numerous tracks find radio airtime.

Over the COVID lockdown the band were hard at work writing new material and fine tuning their sound and live performance. Currently working on some new music with new producers; Holy Holy's Oscar Dawson, as well as Northeast Party House's Malcom Besley. The boys are keen for a big 2021 after the year that was a write off.

I'm yet to meet a Paddy Cakes song that I didn't like. This has got their trademark mix of scungy riffs and Catfish-like drive.

if you're a catfish and spacey jane fan then you simply must get around the paddy cakes. this one has the size to suit a big stage but still a crunch and not too polished aesthetic to get the real ones nodding.

HEY! this is kinda epic. love the wailing guitars and the gritty vocals and really find their own in that explosive chorus. the paddy cakes have got a brand new fan right here.
