Bio

You'd find her breaking out into song and dance with her brothers and sisters in a household of harmonious chaos of 9.
Paige Black is a soulful pop singer songwriter born and raised upon the banks of the river nestled in the hills of the Yarra Valley.
Paige's soaring melodies and bittersweet, candid storytelling takes listeners on a journey, narrating the places she’s been, the relationships she’s made and the difficulties we all face while navigating this life.
Paige was crowned the 2020 winner of the prestigious Darebin Songwriters’ Award by Judges Emma Donovan, Jess Ribeiro and Charles Jenkins with her song “Oceans Apart”.

Inspired by luminary performers such as Adele and Sara Bareilles and following in the footsteps of Australian artists like Missy Higgins and Meg Mac, Paige writes at the piano and lets her powerful voice carry her stories.

Strong voice, Paige! It's got something special and it kinda reminds me of Vera Blue! Lovely to hear from you.

there's a clarity to your voice that's impossible to look away from. it draws you into your story and your gorgeous songwriting keeps you there.
