Paper Plane Project is Mason Kimber and Nick Bennett, a production duo from Perth, but who now live in Sydney andshare a love for old records and soulful beats. They began making music together after a record-digging trip to Brazil, which had a major effect on the guys. Paper Plane Project's sound is all about that old-school Sunday afternoon party in the park, bringing soulful beats and vibes back into the realm of hip-hop and beyond. Their new material blurs the line between 60's soul and funk, 70's disco boogie, 90's golden era hip hop and contemporary beats. Whatever the label, they aim to give the listener a feel-good vibe that is best listened to while cruising the neighborhood on a warm summer's day.
