Barely surpassing the legal drinking age, Passport have gone from strength to strength, joining the ranks of their contemporaries in Melbourne’s thriving indie scene. Drawn together by a mutual love of music, Passport formed at High School 3 years ago. Since then members, Lakyn Heperi (Vocals/Keys/Guitar), James Freeman (Guitar/Vocals), Joshua Milgate (Bass) and Benjamin Williams (Drums) have played shows at some of Melbourne’s top venues, laid-down tracks for a debut EP and landed themselves a National tour support slot. A Triple J Unearthed act, Passport were placed a close second in last year’s The Very West competition which pits the Western Suburb’s finest against each other in a bid to play Laneway Festival. With a loyal following and a fast-growing fan base, Passport are renowned for delivering their infectious, highly danceable brand of indie rock with loads of energy at every show.
