Artist:Pathaway

While different forms of the band had seen the light earlier, April 2006 saw the rise of what is now Pathaway. Andrew, Matt and Scott had played together thoughout the years, and with the addition of Jaise on drums, a new desire for song writing and performance grew. The band's music incorporates aspects of both keyboard and guitar driven rock, along with advanced song writing and a desire to create an original and distinct sound. The diverse influences of the band allow Pathaway to perform with other bands generally considered outside their scene. The live shows aim to capture both the precision and feel of the recorded material, as well as inject the energy which has been a staple of rock music over the years. Early 2008 saw the release of the bands' debut EP, Similarities, Different Days. Launched at the Rosemount Hotel, Pathaway hope to promote the CD throughout 2008, with the aim of regular live shows and with long term plans for future releases.
