Bio

German born, 17 year old Paulina, moved to Ipswich at the age of two, and considers herself more Australian than German. She stunned her parents and friends by imitating her favourite songs at an early age of 5 and has been singing and playing the guitar ever since.

The foundations to Paulina’s artistry are found in her parents CD collection: old-school artists such as The Beatles, Tracy Chapman and Crowded House. She also discovered her own influences in Ed Sheeran, Adele and Amy Winehouse.

Paulina is quickly showing her capability to write uniquely emotive songs, capturing the true essence of her song writing subjects in her purest performances, taking cues from luminaires Jorja Smith and Amy Shark.

Her original singles have been supported by the likes of Spotify, triple j & Unearthed, Lefuturewave (NED), Phoenix Radio, and ABC Local Radio in Queensland.

In 2019, she was a featured performer at Ipswich Unearthed at Studio 188, performed live on ABC Radio Queensland and Phoenix Radio, Ipswich, and she was a recipient of the 2019 Ipswich City Council’s Protege Masterclass Songwriting Development Program with I Heart Songwriting Club.

In 2020 she was a support act for Jack Botts and 2021 she supported Felivand @ Studio 188 in Ipswich and got featured in the Guardian & Tribute and ABC News.

Her dream is to connect with people all over the world through her music.

it's dark and emotive but there's some rootsy elements too. paulina is one to keep an eye on for sure!

Love the brooding tension - makes that chorus so satisfying.

The build up is soft, but a nice tension and then the chorus hits and we're GOING!
I already know this track is going to get stuck in my head. I'm excited for more Paulina in 2021
