Bio

PEEL is a band from Sydney, Australia making interdimensional guitar music. Allured by elements of shoegaze, post-punk and psychedelia, the band weave fuzz and reverb with luminous synths and sequencers, atmospheric soundscapes, dazed vocals and propulsive rhythms. ‘DYNA’ is their second single. The track pulls the hypnotic, fuzz-driven energy heard on the band’s debut ‘Memory Loop’ into cosmic territory, with a searing opening guitar riff gliding into beds of organs, reverb-drenched guitars and lush vocals. This dense wall of sound gives way to an epic finale punctuated by percussive grooves, piercing sequencers, celestial vocal harmonies and a sprawling guitar solo that wouldn’t be out of place on Primal Scream’s ‘Screamadelica’. The track is the second offering from an EP recorded across 2020, due out in 2021 via Third Eye Stimuli Records.

Impressive psych blend but it's never too esoteric either. This'll make you move.
