Bio

PEEL is a band from Sydney, Australia making interdimensional guitar music. Allured by elements of shoegaze, post-punk and psychedelia, the band weave fuzz and reverb with luminous synths and sequencers, atmospheric soundscapes, dazed vocals and propulsive rhythms.

'Memory Loop' is the debut single from PEEL. The track sees the band come out of the gates with all engines firing. From its blistering opening bass line to its chaotic climax, ‘Memory Loop’ reels you along with a relentless pace. Double-tracked drums and horror-movie organs create a mesmerising atmosphere, underpinned by intense, blurred guitar lines and a trance-inducing bass groove.

The track is the first offering from an EP recorded across 2020, due out in 2021.

Launching at Waywards, Sydney on December 11th and 12th. Tickets here:

Blessed by the gods of psych, this one packs a rainbow coloured wall of sound.

i don't know if i'm being buried deep or lifted high above but whatever you're doing has some dark magic power to it.

Feeling those influences keenly with that searing psych shoegaze guitar, but you're absolutely tearing it up in 2020. When the chorus hits, it all lifts off.
