P E N N Y P U R R Penny Purr, also known as 'MAMA PURR' is a Perth (Australia) based rapper, singer and song writer from Whangarei, New Zealand. Penny’s journey into the music scene was unique, beginning in burlesque in 2014 Penny eventually transitioned into the world of spoken word which sparked her evolution into music and by 2016 she had released her debut EP “welcome to purrgatory” with the help of uncool Sam and Robert shaker. By 2017 she had numerous singles, features and an EP collaboration with Optamus from Downsyde and was performing regularly, with raving reviews.
