While the original plans to call the band Bayswater Waves landed them in hot water with the eponymous aquatic recreational facility, the band continued their light-hearted approach to song and dance by naming their band after the city in which they reside. The band’s debut album “Babes, Water, Waves” is a homophonous nod to their former title and is a bucolic celebration of the orgiastic and experimental nature of the band.
