Bio

Peyton is a Perth based singer-songwriter who's style can be described as electronic indie pop with influences ranging from Florence and The Machine and The XX with the attitude and dynamics of M.I.A. Lyrically Peyton embraces her personal experiences, absurdities and observations of life to draw inspiration.

Her debut single "New York Era" was released in 2016 to a sell out audience at Perth live venue The Velvet Lounge and received rave reviews with high indie radio rotation. Peyton's renown captivation liver performance has seen her spend the last year playing a series of gigs around Perth playing at venues such as Amplifier Bar, The Boston and El Grotto her debut east coast tour scheduled for early 2017.

“Shatter” is the second single off the debut EP, written and assembled in collaboration with Perth producer Lance Robinson, due for release October 2016.
The track features Peyton's smooth soulful vocals and earnest lyrics with a blend of delicate guitar chords, synths and electronic beats.

" With debut single of this quality, Peyton is already beginning to lay down roots as a voice to listen out for. Cut yourself a clipping of this budding local star before it's too late. " - Rotunda Media

"her strong feminine vocals resemble those of Florence Welsh, while the electronic beats and synths echo M.I.A’s style. " - Confront Magazine
