Bio

Born on the Sunshine Coast, PHINEHAS has a tone of voice that is very expressive and very vibrant. Along with his writing style, consisting of a mix of pop, folk and soul music; influenced by mainstream artists like Ed sheeran, James Bay and Shawn Mendez, as well as other artists like Cody Lovaas, Rex Orange County and Ziggy Alberts.

PHINEHAS began his music journey starting as a drummer at the age of 9, playing at school concerts and church services. Once he got to the age of 14, he started to test his musical abilities and began teaching himself guitar, as well as pursuing a far-fetched dream of being able to sing. But after many years of struggling, at the age of 17 he can now play Drums, Guitar, Piano, write beautiful songs and sing them with as much emotion as the lyrics themselves portray.

Phinehas is currently in the process of releasing his first Single titled ‘Losing my doubts’. This is as well as looking to record more original songs in the near future.

I don’t often love Man-And-A-Guitar songs but this one has an undeniable appeal, Phinehas drawing you with nothing more than that velour voice

What a voice! Really pops with the stripped back arrangement.
