Hailing from Brisbanes prosperous music scene, aspiring to follow in the footsteps of Brisbane rock gods Violent Soho and Ball Park Music, Pink Tea is an up and coming artist/producer intent on creating heart felt Rock music for the love of it.

After the debut single ‘Send Me A Letter’ (released in 2016) picked up plenty of positive feedback from local radio stations around Australia (4ZZZ, Radio Port Douglas), Pink Tea has been working harder than ever for the follow up -honing in on a new skill set through live performances, musical production and arrangements in song writing.
Pink Tea has pulled off several successful gigs around Brisbane’s bar scene and it’s shaping up to be an exciting 2018.

Over the years there has been a relentless desire to break through the boundaries of Rock music as a genre but to honour the core foundations of it. Constant fluctuations in will power and fighting off the urge to call it quits and just stick to the day job has been a never ending battle, but the completion of the Pink Tea EP has proved itself worth all the heartache.

The Pink Tea EP has been carefully crafted by Tom Murphy, the songwriter behind the project, taking a long hard look internally at himself. Each song is a deeply personally story about the life of Pink Tea and his past mistakes and glories.
