Bio

Following the release of their 2018 debut single “Lovely”, the alternative sad-pop band Pinkish Blu are now set to release their highly anticipated second single “Capricorn”. Still channeling their emotional, 80’s inspired, post punk vibes “Capricorn” delivers a sonically energetic punch complimented with inventive songwriting, namely their synth hooks and signature guitar tone. A creatively mature step in the direction of owning their unique sound. So far this year Pinkish Blu have supported bands such as Trophy Eyes, Endless Heights, MANE and Kingswood. Immediately following the release of their second single “Capricorn”, the band will be playing the iconic BIGSOUND Festival in Brisbane and intend on following their BIGSOUND showcase with more shows across Australia to finish off a big year for the band.

Some enviable buzz building around this band. Sounds like they can exist in a few different worlds thanks to their influences and balance of light and dark.

The hazy '80s production and that casual vocal delivery really works for me.
