'PLCS' is the solo producer project of Callum Lawson. Music producer, DJ, event organisers, and co-founder of the music community ‘Beat Collective’. Known for developing the live electronic music scene in Melbourne, Callum alongside co-founder Rosaline Yuen decided to take the idea of “creativity with limitations” to a new level by producing one track every fortnight for a year. This birthed the beginning of Beat Collective, and a long running progression of electronic showcases, creative challenges and musical prompts for producers to test their skills and push creative boundaries. After graduating with a degree in Psychology from the University of Western Australia, Callum was first exposed to electronic music production through the Electronic Music Appreciation Society (EMAS) in Perth.
