Artist:The Pleasantries

The Pleasantries, formed in 2008, are a 2 piece folk/pop outfit in the vein of Damien Rice, Elliott Smith, The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel. The band is made up of, vocalist and occasional percussionist Katherine Sheppard and guitarist and occasional vocalist, Paddy O'Sullivan. They Play a set consisting mostly of originals, with a few tasteful covers, and are known to have the odd guest musician come and join them for a few numbers. The Pleasantries continue to write and learn new songs and are looking forward to some pleasant gigs in 2013.
