Bio

Poison Abbey is 23-year old classical pianist-turned producer, Jess Rogleff and collaborator Thomas Studans. With shimmering synths, blues and rock inspired guitar and Jess' wispy vocals, the act filter the confessional intimacy of lo-fi bedroom pop through influences like R&B and hypnagogic pop.

Big early-80s New York City vibe on this one. Y'know, without all the murdering... There's something completely unique about this though and I am 100 percent here for it.

Sheesh, Poison Abbey says artists like Grimes and Conan Moccasin as well as CAN and Chic and I can hear all of them melted down and mixed together here. What a trip. A fun, wonky, intoxicating trip.
