About
There is no denying Polly’s country roots, she grew up on a farm in country WA, listening to Dolly Parton. After a couple of trips east to Tamworth, and a debut album by country producer Roger Corbett, Polly earned multiple wins in the 'WAM Song of The Year' Awards, including a WAMi nomination for Country artist of the Year, but that’s where the pure country stopped. Polly’s new songs sway into the alt-country / rock / indie crossroads, The new EP Hotel Loves was recorded with producer Andy Lawson at Debaser Studio and features heartbreak tales of love gone wrong, screwing things up and wearing the scars to prove it. The single 'Banged Up' track received a nomination in the WAM Song of The Year 2012 Awards.
