Bio

New single "LIVE FOR TONIGHT" Out Now!!! Melbourne band, Polo Club are described as “...one of the most exciting, and inventive groups on the scene.” The release of their debut album “The 13” (mastered in L.A by Dave Cooley of Stones Throw Records) in 2009, saw original members Dyl Thomas and Cam Chapman crafting a slamming slab of indefinable Hip Hop Club bangers. Shortly after release Polo Club toured the album nationally. ‘The 13’ received album of the week on Triple R and numerous plays on Triple j. Polo Club has now been expanded to a 4 piece outfit consisting of Adam Fitzgerald and Aidan McLaren. Now as a band the four of them can showcase live the unique flavours they all add to the writing process. Polo Club have graced the stage at some of Australia’s most popular music festivals like Parklife , Good Vibrations, The Hills Are Alive and The Push Over. 2011 saw Polo Club release a full length FREE album/mixtape called “Don’t Believe The Hyper Colour”. With 20 original remixes of famous artists like Lil Wayne, Cee-lo, Phoenix and Goldfrapp, “Don’t believe The Hyper Colour” quickly became a sort-after download on blogs all over the globe. In their own words, Polo Club have come a long way since their debut, honing their skills and adding 2 new members to the live lineup which has the whole of Melbourne city talking about their engaging live show. Last year the guys drop the blog praised EP 'SHE WILL NEVER KNOW' that came with it a string of highly stylised film clips for the tracks 'See You Again' and the title track 'She Will Never Know'. Following the success of the EP and a sold out Melbourne show POLO CLUB hit the road for their first headline national tour up the east coast. Now in 2013, POLO CLUB are back with a bangin' new EP 'LIVE FOR TONIGHT' and are counting down the days until they can officially unleash the title track of the same name on Friday 7 July. Watch out for the full EP going up around the globe on Monday 1st July. facebook.com/poloclub
