Blending the folky pop catchiness of Crowded House, Wilco and Death Cab For Cutie but with a surprising emotional maturity and depth Pourparlour are a band that take no shame in saying that it’s the song that counts. It’s clear from the second you hear them that this is the philosophy that they adhere to to the point of obsession.
