Power and Greig: two singer-songwriters come together from opposite sides of the proverbial river. Dan Greig - a boho-brazilian gospel freak; Jim Power - a honey-voiced anarcho-hillbilly, discover their mutual stomping ground on the bounce of reggae and the toothlessness of bluegrass. The two are also brought together by a shared commitment to grassroots social change and their love of a good ho-down. Power & Greig have since found a band of merry madmen to become a 5 piece. They play an original, harmony driven, good-vibing set, serenading lovers and stickin’ it to the man. They are also partial to the odd bluegrass/gospel sing-along extravaganza. This dynamic band pull together banjo, harmonica, guitars, dobro, double bass and drums, topping it off with their soulful harmonies.
