Psychic Sun play a style of rock that blends psyche-based textures with supercharged fuzz, creating a unique sonic and live performance aesthetic. Based in Wollongong, the band have become a fixture on the local live scene, touring through Melbourne, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, and the South Coast, as well as sharing the stage with Richard Clapton, Born Lion, Don Fernando, Arc of Ascent and Velvet Elevator. Starting with the ‘Headspace EP’ (2013), acclaimed full length debut 'Rising Suns And Fallen Angels' (2014) and sophomore album 'Death Rattle' (2016), Psychic Sun hit it hard with new single 'Backfire', a blistering tune laced with fuzzed-out rock'n'roll.
