      P.T. Collis has spent the last decade or so penning raw tales of suburban absurdism, iconoclasm, psyche struggles, and matter-of-fact romance for cult audiences across Australia and Asia. Hailed for his natural storytelling and dynamic stage presence as frontman in Melbourne rock-band The Great Emu War, P.T. Collis has returned from hiatus refocused and re-energised in a big way. Collis's debut album ‘Low Twenties, Mostly Sunny’ was recorded in a backyard in St Kilda by Tom McLaren, with a simple recording set-up that did no disservice to the final product. The 8-track album captures a range of moods and musings on a pleasant Sunday afternoon; complete with passing trams and background birdsong. Though the album was recorded before Collis left to live in Vietnam indefinitely in 2017, it wasn’t until he returned to Melbourne and reflected on his experience that he decided to release it.
