Bio

The singer-songwriter's sunny spirit is embedded in their captivating live performances. Bolstered by their distinctive close-knit vocal style; Rach Brennan & The Pines sing of friendship, innocence and the unabashed naivety of falling in and out of love.

The group's authentic indie-roots pop stylings has seen them sell out hometown shows at Geelong's Barwon Club on two occasions. Rach took her music on a solo endeavour to Europe in 2015, playing a string of 27 shows across 10 countries. She returned last year with The Pines for a shorter stint, notably filling The Spirit Store in Ireland. Off the merit of their recent previous single 'Weapon of Love', Rach Brennan & The Pines sold out two hometown single launches in under a week, with the track reaching #4 on the iTunes Singer Songwriter charts in June 2018.

On the cusp of releasing their debut album, the 24-year-old emerging artist and her 'Pines' are armed with ambition, with a collection of unpretentious and honest songs penned as a nod to early adulthood.

"I Wanna See You is a song about young love. All the squishy, sappy stuff that goes through your head the first time you really feel it. The kind of stuff no one wants to say out loud - that's what we put in the lyrics. It's a sweetly naive kind of feeling, mirrored by the playful instrumental and the boy's 'ooh-la-la' serenade" - Rach Brennan

Need something to put a smile on your face?

Press play on this one!

It makes me so happy, every time I play it I feel like I am on the verge of public outbursts of laughter and dancing (like no one's watching - cliche but, true!). It's so rad!!!
