Radio Spectacular!!! met on MySpace over a shared love of music. This soon turned into a shared love for each other, which led to Harry moving down from Bundaberg to Adelaide to be with Phebe. The duo record and produce all their material in their spare-room studio at home, and manage to capture a bright and vibrant electro sound while still maintaining that DIY-pop aesthetic. They have played with the likes of Tim & Jean, The John Steel Singers, Jonathan Boulet, That 1 Guy, Lovers Electric, kid confucius. Radio Spectacular!!!’s track You Light Me Up has been used for an Australia-wide Canon Ixus television commercial. In 2010, the band independently released their new EP Sugar Baby, Honey Child with tracks like You Light Me Up receiving airplay on Triple J as well as appearing on Australian drama Offspring on Channel 10 and 1000 Colours being featured on stations like Triple J, Adelaide’s Nova and community radio stations.
