Bio

The Raffaellas released their debut self-titled EP in 2012 to sold out venues in Melbourne receiving national, international and community acclaim. The guys like to be on stage, having played with the likes of Stonefield, City Calm Down, Lurch and Chief, Neighbourhood Youth, they also supported Jinja Safari on their most recent national tour.

In 2014 The Raffaellas released their double A-side 'Words/Hands', produced, mixed and engineered by Lindsay Gravina (The Living End, Roland S. Howard). Since it’s release, Words has received popular and critical praise, nation-wide. The double A-side, a prelude to The Raffaellas’ 2nd EP, was also recorded live by Large Noises alongside Vance Joy and Ali Barter.

'Dreams Out of Reach' is The Raffaellas 2nd full length EP. Produced and tracked independently, the EP was recorded with Oscar Dawson (HOLY HOLY) at Aviary Studios in Collingwood, and in a home studio in Daylesford. 'Dreams Out of Reach' is a personal record about ideas, dreams and growing older. The EP’s first single is called 'Streams'.

This is a convincing tune from The Raffaellas. Nicely wound up with an urgent vocal and the wiry guitars that are sure to appeal.
