Artist:Rargo

Hailing from Port Macquarie on the New South Wales Mid-North Coast, Rargo is an exciting and innovative four piece ensemble fusing together the genres of reggae, funk, jazz and pop to create a unique sound. Fronted by twenty-year-old Patty Bolster, the band has brought their collection of originals to stages in Sydney over the last few months, always being met with enthusiasm and intrigue. Whilst Patty's voice exudes the influence of Jazz and Folk, sounds of Angus Stone and Coldplay’s Chris Martin can be heard in his vocal quality. The musical styling of saxophonist Caleb Schrader adds a sexy and mature edge to the band’s sound, while bassist Alistair McCulloch and drummer Joe Kernahan are the driving force behind Rargo’s rhythm section. The result is a groovy and energetic sound that these guys love playing to audiences of all ages.
