Bio

Have you ever been listening to [insert any given band] and thought this is great, but it goes on for way too long? If you answered yes then Rattus Rattus is the band for you. The Brisbane boys think that too many songs go beyond the golden two minute mark and so they devoted themselves to writing and releasing short, sharp and to-the-point songs.

After playing a debut packed out show at the Milk Factory to celebrate their first single ‘Hell or NSW?’, Rattus Rattus had been working hard to produce louder and faster songs. ‘Hell or NSW?’ was well received; getting plenty of airplay on 4zzz and a review from Declan Byrne on Triple J Unearthed.

Rattus’ new single, ‘I’ve Got No Plans’, is a catchy, guitar driven surf-punk tune that will stay in your head all day long. With noticeable influences from PUP, FIDLAR and Skeggs, ‘I’ve Got No Plans’ is the perfect tune to usher in the long Australian summer.

Catch Rattus Rattus for the ‘I’ve Got No Plans’ Single Launch on October 6th at Blutes Bar, Brisbane.
