Ray Friday isn't a person.
Ray Friday is a band.
Three musicians from the Illawarra/South Coast of NSW who create songs influenced heavily by Australian, Pacific and SoCal Reggae with a bit of pop and rock the mix.

Joe plays drums and percussion, Hemingway plays bass and Ray sings and plays guitar.

Ray Friday creates a creamy layered Aussie reggae sound whilst singing about the good and the not-so-good stuff in life, mixed in with a few nice acoustic tracks that try and help you remember how you got home last night.
They create this sound when performing live by utilising live looping of guitars and drum parts. The end result could easily be mistaken for a full 6 to 8-piece band.

The band got together officially in early 2018 and recorded their debut EP "Light it Up". The response received for the EP was better than the band could have ever imagined, playing a series of shows with the likes of Bootleg Rascal and True Vibenation and receiving regular airtime on a number of local reggae radio programs up and down the East Coast of Australia.

Ray Friday are currently in the studio recording their next releases for mid to late 2019.

Stay tuned and enjoy.
