Red Ink Spills are mostly refugees from England, slumming it in Melbourne. Theyve played bunch of dates around Melbourne and get props for their brash live shows and killer tunes. Their ages range between 21 and 26. Red Ink Spills are currently thinking about a new recording. They've got a new guitarist who plays organ too. It sounds heaps different. Red Ink Spills have played with such Melbourne rock'n'roll luminaries as The Tranquilizers, The New Black, Basil, The Hovercrafts, Kids from Russia and The Bites. Recently they appeared at the hip Saturday night club Click-Click to celebrate Christmas Eve. They've also been up to Sydney to play a few shows, including an instore at Sound and Fury Records. Bits of Red Ink Spills have been playing together in various combinations since September 2004; now they are finally all in the right place at the right time.
