Rej Lee Fight Club is the alter-ego of Milky Thred frontman Riley Gardiner. What began out of sheer boredom as a lockdown project quickly bloomed as a way for Rej to explore and expand his musical horizons, drawing away from Milky Thred’s fast-paced indie pop and allowing him to dip his toes into a sound some might describe as much more mature. Having just hit the ripe old age of 18, Rej has quite a sizeable resume behind him. His music career has already seen him share stages with the likes of Hockey Dad, Hilltop Hoods and Lime Cordiale from playing in Milky Thred, but it’s clear Rej Lee Fight Club is no copy-cat. Early 2019 saw Rej getting heavily into bands like Broncho and Willie J Healey, making way for the inspiration behind the tracks on his debut album.
