Sitting on a fence between hooky, melodic pop and a nostalgic sense of punk rock, Sydney’s Ride For Rain began to share a passion and craft for their music and a love for ’90s aesthetic culture in early 2015. Dylan McDermott (guitar, vocals), Goran Belobrajdic (guitar, vocals), Liam McDermott (bass, vocals) and Tim Forrest (drums) all bring their own uniqueness to Ride For Rain.

The band have since released their first full length record 'Life's A Beach’ (2017) with singles catching airplay on both Triple J and Triple J Unearthed. Also catching air play on Triple J Unearthed was their single ‘Nobody Can Save Us*’ (2018) with ‘their signature blend of chaotic punk, indie-rock, and pop to deliver a track that’ll stick in your head for weeks’- (Happy Mag). Ride For Rain toured up and down the east coast numerous times,  have toured their first international shows in Japan and have had the honour of supporting icons such as Strung Out and The Flatliners.

Ride For Rain have started working with The Dead Love's front man Stevie Knight*, a very credible producer responsible for a lot of great bands coming out of Australia. Ride For Rain feel they have perfected their version of an indie pop charismatic sound with the nostalgic punk rock vibe they’ve always loved on their upcoming EP ‘Never Magenta’ due 2020.
