From the secluded depths of the Tasmanian wilderness, rock-beast Ride the Tiger has emerged from hibernation to feast on the Australian punk scene once again. Formed in 2010, the band marked the scene with bright, progressive melodies and claw sharp guitar work. A sound that was set down on two shortform releases and stropped on the nations club stages. In the winter of 2012, Ride the Tiger embarked on a fractured odyssey, writing, self-recording and mixing their debut long player. The journey nearly ended in extinction for the band but after innumerable missteps and wrong turns they arrived at their destination a full six years on from their departure. Now the band are finally set to deliver their first single: Our Moments Pass. The song will be released on July 20th and, featured on the long delayed debut album. Like an echo from the past that somehow grew louder and clearer in the years unheard, the new song is a fierce reminder of who Ride the Tiger were and why they're back
