Artist:Rivvy

Rivvy is the latest project from Sydney producer Chumpy Ly. Having had a long history with diy production since childhood, meddling with mostly psychedelia and shoegaze (Cull, Polar Knights, Skeltal), Chumpy is setting his sights on stranger sonic avenues. Ever since adopting a rescue greyhound called Rivers 3 years ago, and experiencing the joy that he brought, Chumpy decided to pour all of his expression into celebrating Rivers. Rivvy’s writing is a juxtposition of the downtuned aggression of the heavier rock/metal genres, with the softer, happy-go-lucky sound of Japanese City Pop (シティーポップ)
