" Super talented and charismatic… rule breaking rock" - Inpress Grand, theatrical, eclectic and frequently epic, Robot Child plays melodic hard rock that evokes the ghosts of Queen, Pink Floyd, Faith No More, Muse and has even drawn comparisons with early Birds of Tokyo and Mastodon. Featuring Waleed Aly, Jeff Wortman, Marty Holt, Dan Slater and Dave Hartney, the band often find themselves in interesting situations - such as being the house band for The Chaser at the 2011 Sydney Writer's festival. Robot Child are just as comfortable rocking out at The Espy, Revolver, or Ding Dong; as they are in more grandiose settings like the Melbourne Town Hall or Spiegeltent. "Space" appears on the Just Music charity album, also featuring Paul Kelly, Clare Bowditch, Dan Sultan, Jesse & Ella Hooper, Angie Hart, David Bridie, Xavier Rudd and others. Robot Child's debut album "One More War" is slated for release early in 2014, and was produced by Ben Ehrenberg (Calling all Cars) and mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, TBE).
