Bio

Creating from the unlikely home of Port Pirie in regional South Australia, Ladgrove has amassed over 20 million spins on Spotify in 2017, making him one of Australia's most streamed indie artists.

Add to this huge placements on nationwide US TV (including the MLB All-Star Game) and Ladgrove has become a chill staple, with loyal fans spread evenly across the globe.

'We Don't Talk Anymore' spins the Ladgrove sound on it's head - the folky chill jams taking on new life with collaborator, brother and tripleJ regular Wongo - bittersweet lyrics and plaintive strums meet thick house beats in a Tame Impala-style soundscape.

"I wanted to create something that had meaning, but with a bit of magic sonically, something you could sink your teeth into." says Ladgrove of 'We Don't Talk Anymore'.

Ladgrove's first single "India" was the first to garner support on tripleJ, championed by the likes of Lewi McKirdy and Linda Marigliano.

After spending much of 2017 chasing pure folk sounds, 'We Don't Talk Anymore' sees Ladgrove return to the folktronica roots people know and love.

'We Don't Talk Anymore' is out December 11 on TripleDouble Records.

asking why 'we don't talk anymore' couldn't be delivered in a more serene and generally ear pleasing way i don't think.

You've taken the 'tronic' out of your previous folktronica, but the stripped back style really suits you. It actually allows your voice to shine.
