Bio

Rory Faithfield is now a resident of South Western Australia after many years based in Ireland, where his South West Australian theme song, 'Big Blue Western Skies’ (inspired by the end of 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland) was heard regularly on BBC Radio Ulster.

Currently promoting his new album ’Southern Cross, Northern Skies’, performing solo with acoustic guitar, harmonicas and a loop station. Bruce Elder stated, "Faithfield inhabits the same rich musical world as Christy Moore, Luka Bloom and Glen Hansard. His songs are wistful, romantic, deeply felt, beautifully crafted and sung with a voice that pours sincerity and emotion over every line and note”.

Destined to be an instant classic. A beautiful ode to Sydney, which is usually presented as a fast moving unstoppable force - this speaks to the beaches and quiet corners that many of us have found here. I was not born in Sydney town, but this song aches in a way that reminds me why I live here now.

Beautiful song, beautiful, natural sounding voice. Nice production values, not surprized their playing you on the radio,... wish I could be you!

I like the naked vocals =) Nice, close and personal, and nice to see a singer smiling in a photograph for a change.
