Bio

Rosie and The Quest is a six-piece soul project from the Central Coast, NSW. They draw inspiration from the strong future soul movement that has been developing in Australia for a number of years. Members include Rose Callaghan (Vocals), Joseph Smith (Keys), Brennan Fell (Bass), Jordan Gazzard (Synth/Guitar), Kyle McCallum (Guitar) and Luke Fabila (Drums).

Rosie and the Quest are looking forward to the upcoming release of their debut single ‘I Can Do This’, recorded with Declan Kelly (Bernard Fanning, King Tide, DK and The Rising Sun) and Drew Bisset at The Nest Studios.

'I Can Do This' is a personal reminder of the value of believing in yourself. Lead singer, Rose Callaghan, tells a story through contrasting lyrics and melody which explore reflective and celebratory moments throughout the track. The band helps reinforce the messages through a nostalgic composition that lifts spirits and reminds listeners to take a moment and 'back' yourself.
The video clip was filmed by Erin Comensoli and reinforces feel-good themes through a playful story of overcoming one's fears and backing yourself.

The band will embark on a single tour in celebration of 'I Can Do This' through Feb to May. They will be also joining Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Kota Banks, Billsbry and Tiali Eliza on their respective release tours.

Tasteful soul with an old-school, yet, a new-age charm is tough to do. Rosie and The Quest make the quiet and delicate, sexy and powerful. Reminds me of Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings as well as Jorja Smith.
