The Royal Coats are a four piece Newcastle band formed in 2019. The two guitarists and bass player met at a music course, jammed together before discovering their drummer. The rest is history. The Royal Coats have been described as a rock band with groovy beats and catchy riffs. The band has toured all around Newcastle and have sold out their first Sydney show in late February 2021. With the combination of William Dyer Culhane’s grungy vocals and guitar playing, Elijah Robert’s tasty lead breaks, Jack Johnson’s Addictive bass licks and Matthew Conibear’s heavy drum beats, they’re a band you don’t want to miss out on.
