About

At the start of the year Ruben Neeson released his single 'Fill Your Glass', played a few too many final shows, then took off to New York City to start a new life. Three months later he found himself living on the New South Wales’ south coast with his tail between his legs, a few stories and the second single off his forthcoming debut EP ‘Permanent Chills’. To be released on July 22, ‘I Just Don’t Know The Truth’ follows suit from ‘Fill Your Glass’ as another short yet hard-hitting track. Adam Della-Grotta’s fuzzy riffs, Caitlin Harnett’s angelic harmonies, Harrison Fuller’s driving bass and Ben James’s rhythmic deftness help carry Ruben's songwriting to another level. Recorded and mixed at Sydney’s Parliament Studios by Lachlan Mitchel (The Jezabels, The Vines, The Whitlams), Ruben’s debut EP ‘Permanent Chills’ is set to be released in September. In 2019 Ruben Neeson released his debut single ‘Cut The Branch’ and a double A side ‘Moonlit Spell / The Sound’ featuring Julia Jacklin.
