Funny how after one EP we all already knew the "Ruby Fields sound". I guess it makes sense because those big tracks had so much of Ruby's personality in them. This new one retains that unmistakable wit but woah what a change-up in sound! The atmosphere and texture is nuts. And that vulnerability...it'll make you fall in love with Ruby Fields all over again.

Trust Rubes to meld fanciful lyrics and pop culture with pathos to winning effect. That final explosive chorus is the very definition of delayed satisfaction.
