Bio

Hailing from Perth, Ruer is one of 2019’s most exciting emerging acts. Combining her background in Jazz vocals with her own brand of sophisticated electronic pop production, Ruer has recently signed to record label 'WOMPP'. In 2018, Ruer’s debut into the music scene was nothing less than epic as she made top 5 of Triple J Unearthed DMA’s remix comp. Ruer swiftly followed up from this impressive start by releasing her debut single “I Don’t Need Ya” in March 2019 which commanded major attention from her local scene landing the artist a nomination at the West Australian Music’s (WAM) Song Of The Year Awards 2019. Whether you want to compare it to some of the greatest songs of the 20th century is entirely up to you, all we’re saying is that RUER is somebody to WATCH. This singer/songwriter/producer from Perth is ready to give up the goods in 2019.

How's the combo, here? Synths that dazzle and then a bass that roars. Wait! I just got to the vocal ad libs from Ruer too. Oh, she's good.

I love what you've done with the bass. You've definitely turned these stems into a total banger.

RUER's combined light and dark with sinister synths, pulsing beats and crystal clean vocals. A compelling offering to the DIY Supergroup competition!
