RUINER is the latest project from Fremantle locals Justin Zanetic (Last Quokka, Zanetic) and James Knox (J.F.K, Treehouses), tying together their shared musical worlds to create lush indie-electronica that spreads its wings from intimate, vocal driven dream-pop to club inspired bass music. Eschewing the rock worlds that both members have previously been tied to, Ruiner sees the duo carving out their own experimental niche within the Perth music landscape to deliver "bursts of indie-electronica that feels like the worlds of The xx and RUFUS DU SOL colliding - but in their own, distinctive way" (Pilerats).
