S.A.B

Bio

Rapper, S.A.B was born in South Africa, but has hailed Brisbane his home since 2016.
2020 has started off with a bang for S.A.B. Him and his crew, Order Sixty6, played alongside Cub Sport and Jaguar Jonze and were nominated for Best Hip-Hop song in the 2020 Queensland Music Awards (alongside Nerve, Camouflage Rose and Ozi Jarel). The part he played within the group also earned him a Triple J Unearthed Video Premiere and all three releases featured on Home and Hosed with Declan Byrne
The year is no where near finished, and neither is S.A.B.
S.A.B combines his influences of Jazz, Funk and Hip-Hop with deliberate and introspective lyrical underpinnings. At the end of the day, it’s all about the bars for S.A.B.

how cool for s.a.b to team up with genesis in this form that feels so natural and loungey while still delivering a big message.

if I heard this cold on the radio, I'd be convinced it was an organic collab between S.A.B and Genesis. your laidback bars alongside the silky production is a lush combo.

That bass line comes through like it's liquid. It's got a sleek, groovy exterior but inside there's plenty of lyrical substance.
